Sellaronda Ski Tour

The Legendary Tour of the Four Passes

Sellaronda Ski Tour from Val di Fassa to the Dolomites peaks

If you love skiing, the Sellaronda is not just a route - it’s a ritual. A journey where each stage tells the story of a land, each valley reveals its own Ladin identity, flavours and traditions. A legendary 40 km loop: four valleys - Val di Fassa, Val Gardena, Alta Badia and Arabba - to ski without ever taking off your skis or repeating the same slope, until the sun sets and you complete the grand tour.
Always above 2,000 m, follow the call of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site: every turn opens new horizons, every descent offers a new thrill.

It’s a signature every skier should have on their bucket list.

Sellaronda Ski Tour from Val di Fassa

Ski the Sellaronda from Canazei and Campitello di Fassa

It is the famous Four Passes Tour (Pordoi Pass, Sella Pass, Gardena Pass and Campolongo Pass), a natural loop that embraces the Sella Massif and connects four Ladin valleys: Val di Fassa in Trentino, Val Gardena and Alta Badia in South Tyrol, and Arabba in Veneto.
Awarded every year by Skiresort.de as the "Best Ski Tour in the Dolomites", the Sellaronda is an endless ride of slopes, mainly of intermediate level but with more technical variants for those looking for a challenge, all linked by modern, fast ski lifts.
With a Dolomiti Superski pass, you can complete the tour in about five to six hours at an easy pace, even if you’re not an expert skier: you just need to set off early enough to enjoy a lunch break in one of the many panoramic huts with terraces overlooking the peaks.

You can access the Sellaronda from several points in Val di Fassa: from Canazei or Alba di Canazei via Col dei Rossi, from Campitello by taking the Col Rodella cable car, or from Pozza, with a slightly longer tour through the Buffaure and Ciampac ski areas. Whatever your starting point, the beauty of the Dolomites unfolds from the very first turns.

Once you are on the route, choose your colour: orange for clockwise or green for counter-clockwise. Plan to set off by 9:30 a.m. and aim to cross the last pass by 3:30 p.m. Keep in mind that if the weather changes suddenly, strong winds or heavy snowfall can cause cable cars and chairlifts to close without notice. Other than that, you only need one thing - the desire to ski on spectacular slopes drawn between villages and valleys at the foot of the Sella Group.
